GCC History
In 1965 David Freeman helped to get Gotherington a permanent proper Playing Field, the land coming from an Old Orchard belong to Mrs Malleson.
The Cricket club got restarted again that year with David as Captain.
Further Back-
In 2013 Newspaper records were found of a GCC Dinner Dance in Autumn 1934. Cricket challenge matches are also mentioned in papers in late 1880s.
